Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Chairman of Danny Valentine Corporation. Raised in Wilmington, Delaware and Staten Island, New York. 32 Years in the business of Production, Economic Development, Design and Manufacturing. Attend Harvard Extension and endorsed to study at Yale and University of Pennsylvania. Currently building the new brand Development as a stakeholder for Paramount Global.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

• Health is important
• Design your life
• Diversity and always focus on the bottom line.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Medicine and Law. Working towards a dual degree.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

My mother. She is a very strong wise woman.

Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

I love the Quran, Bible and Torah. 6 articles of faith.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Be true yourself and people will naturally respect your service.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Integrity. I also have the track record.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Being able to govern with a stable mind for law and health.

What legacy would you like to leave?

I made the state, country and world a better place.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

When I met moved to New York City in the 90's. I birthed a new culture in finance, production and economics.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Newspaper route. 5 years.

What is your favorite book? Why?

Quran and Bible. I have two. They are great spiritual tools.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?

The head of Voltron

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Well diversity plays a part of course. I am African American and big corporations seem to do things in ways that don't always seem legit.

A governor is the top executive authority in his or her state. What does that mean do you?

That means we will all be all protected. I brought in 2.4 billion to the state of Delaware from my trust fund papers.

Governors have many responsibilities, which vary from state to state. Which of those do you personally consider the most important in your state?

Diversity, Honesty, Education and Cybersecurity. It's so small, anti trust issues arise pretty quickly.

Different states require governors to have different degrees of responsibility for the state budgeting process. If it were your choice, what do you believe is the appropriate degree of gubernatorial involvement with this process in your state?

I am a mathematician so it's natural for me to organize budgets and make sure finances are in order for the state.

In most states, governors have the power to make line-item vetoes. If that is true in your state, what would be your philosophy for how and when to use this power?

When things unbalanced.

What do you believe is the ideal relationship between the governor and state legislature?

Communications and listening with the intent to hear all opinions.

What do you love most about your state?

When I started in government, I had great mentors. The access was very easy. Connectivity when it works for all. Diversity,

What do you perceive to be your state's greatest challenges over the next decade?

Diversity, Crime and having a open forum about corruption.

Under what circumstances should the governor of your state be able to use emergency powers?

Cybersecurity

Transparency is important.

Depends on the circumstances.
