2009

  • House Bill 42[1], proposed by Rep. Bob Lynn (R), would have established a Legislative Study Group to prepare a report on the possibility of creating an immediate online state political campaign reporting system. Lynn said: "It's past time to bring political campaign disclosure into the 21st century."[2]

2008

  • Alaska Check Register Online was launched in 2008 by the Alaska Department of Administration. It provided state payment information for expenditures over $1,000.
