Richard J. Berry was the mayor of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was first elected in 2009. He did not seek re-election in 2017. Before becoming mayor, Berry served as a Republican member of the New Mexico House of Representatives, representing District 20 from 2007 to 2009.

Biography

Berry was born on November 5, 1962. He received a B.S. in finance and administration from the University of New Mexico. Berry and his wife, Maria Medina, have one son.[1]
