Jane Bunting is the District 2 member of the Elk River Area Board of Education in Minnesota. She ran unopposed and won re-election by default in the general election on November 4, 2014. Bunting was first elected to the board on November 2, 2010.[1]

Jane Bunting is a resident of Elk River, Minnesota. Bunting owns and operates Wayzata Bay Spice Company. Earlier in her career, she worked as an educator and business manager.[2]

The election in Elk River featured four seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbent Tony Walter and newcomer Jamie Plantenberg-Selbitschka ran unopposed for the two at-large seats. Fellow at-large incumbent Jolene Jorgensen did not file for re-election. Board member Shane Steinbrecher faced challenger Larry Farber for the District 1 seat, and District 2 incumbent Jane Bunting ran unopposed to retain her seat.

Funding
