Lillie Sanders is a judge for the Sixth Judicial District of Mississippi.[1] She was appointed to the bench by Governor Ray Mabus in 1989. Sanders was the first female circuit judge in the state.[2][3] She was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that begins in 2015 and will expire in 2018.[4][5]

Sanders earned an undergraduate degree from Alcorn State University, going on to receive her J.D. from the University of Mississippi.[2]
