Sharon V. Burrell is an associate judge on the Sixth Circuit Court for Montgomery County in Maryland. She was appointed to the court by Governor Martin O'Malley on September 26, 2008 and assumed office on October 21, 2008.[1][2] Burrell was elected to the court on November 2, 2010 to a full fifteen-year term, ending in 2025.[3][4]

Education

Burrell received her undergraduate degree in English from Barnard College of Columbia University in 1979 and her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1982.[2]

2010 election

Burrell was elected to the Sixth Circuit Court, along with six other judges, in the general election on November 2, 2010. She received 17.19% of the vote.[3][5]
