Margie Enquist is a judge for the First Judicial District Court in Colorado.[1] She was appointed to the bench in August 2004 by former Governor Bill Owens and was retained by voters in 2008 and 2014.[2][3]  Her six-year term was set to expire on January 11, 2021.[4]

Enquist was retained to the First Judicial District with 66.8 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [5] 

Judicial performance evaluation

The Colorado Commissions on Judicial Performance recommended that Judge Enquist be Retained. The full report is available here.

Education

Enquist received her undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State College and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota.[2]

Career

Before her appointment to the bench, Enquist served as a deputy district attorney in the First Judicial District from 1998 to 2005.[3]
