Marcelo Kopcow is a judge for the Nineteenth Judicial District Court of Colorado, serving in the family division. He was appointed on July 1, 2005, and he was retained by voters in 2014.[1]  His six-year term was set to expire on January 11, 2021.[2]

Kopcow was retained to the Nineteenth Judicial District with 66.7 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]

Education

Kopcow received bachelor's and master's degrees from Northeastern University's College of Criminal Justice. He then earned his J.D. from New York Law School.[1]

Career

Kopcow worked as a deputy district attorney in the 19th Judicial District from 1994 until May 2002, when he was appointed judge of the Greeley Municipal Court. He then worked as a Weld County Court judge from January 1, 2004, until his district court appointment in July 2005.[1]
