William L. McGuire, Jr. is a judge for the New York City Criminal Court of Kings County, New York. He was appointed to this position in December of 2003 after serving as an Interim Judge from June of that year.[1][2]

McGuire has also served on the Bronx County Supreme Court, Criminal Division.[3]

Education

McGuire received his B.B.A. degree from St. Bonaventure University and his J.D. degree from St. John's University School of Law.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the Criminal Court, McGuire worked for over 25 years in the New York County District Attorney's Office. He served for ten of those years as Deputy Bureau Chief of the Trial Division. He then joined the Civil Court as an Interim Judge in June of 2003.[2]
