Stephen L. Braslow is a judge for the Suffolk County Court in New York. He was appointed to this position in 1999 and was elected to full terms in 2000 and 2010. His current term ends in 2020. He also serves as an Acting Judge of the Suffolk County Surrogate's Court.[1][2]
Education
Braslow received his B.A. degree from the University of Miami and his J.D. degree from the Delaware Law School.[1]
Career
Braslow began his career as a private practice Attorney-at-Law. He also lectured at Stony Brook University, served as a Moot Court Judge at the Nassau & Suffolk City Primary and High Schools and, from 1997 to 2003, taught as an adjunct professor of the New York Institute of Technology.
Braslow's judicial career began in 1997 when he joined the New York District Court, Second District. In 1999, he was appointed to the Suffolk County Court.[1]
