Alan L. Honorof was a judge for the New York Court of Claims and an acting justice of the Nassau County Supreme Court who served in the Nassau County Court in New York. He was first appointed to the court of claims in 1996 and was appointed an acting supreme court justice in 2005.[1] Honorof died in July 2017.[2]

Education

Honorof attended George Washington University for his bachelor's degree and Temple University for his J.D.[3] Honorof began his career in 1974 as an assistant district attorney of Nassau County. He then worked as a sole practitioner from 1979 until his judicial appointment in 1996.[1]
