John P. Schrader is a former family court judge for the Fayette County Family Court of the 22nd Judicial Circuit, which serves Fayette County of Kentucky.[1] He joined the court in 2007 but was defeated by Traci H. Boyd when he ran for re-election in 2014.[2]  His term expired on January 4, 2015.[3]

General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 44.3 percent of the vote. He competed against Traci H. Boyd. [4] 

Education

Schrader received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky in 1976 and his J.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1979.[5]

Career

Before he became a judge, Schrader practiced law with his firm of Sherrow, Schrader & Sutherland, PSC in Lexington, Kentucky.[6]
