Miguel de la Carrera is a judge on the Vicinage 11 Superior Court in New Jersey. He serves on the Family Part.[1] He is currently temporarily assigned to Essex County. De la Carrera was appointed by Acting Gov­ernor Donald DiFrancesco in 2002, and he obtained tenured status in 2009. He will now serve on the bench until he reaches 70 years of age in 2025.[2][3]

De la Carrera received his undergraduate degree from Yale College in 1977 and his J.D. from Columbia University in 1982.[4]
