W. Leon Barfield
W. Leon Barfield was a Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. He was stationed in Augusta and stepped down from the court on May 31, 2013.[1][2]
Education
Barfield received his undergraduate degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a J.D. from the University of Georgia.[3]
Career
Barfield began his legal career as a clerk, then he worked in the district attorney's office, and next Barfield became an Assistant U.S. Attorney. In 1993, he joined the magistrate court.[3]
