Sheila A. Venable
Sheila A. Venable is the assignment judge for the Vicinage 5 Superior Court in Essex County, New Jersey. She was appointed on December 16, 2020, effective February 1, 2021, by Chief Justice Stuart Rabner.[1]
Education
Venable earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University.[2]
Career
Venable was previously a judge on the Vicinage 6 Superior Court in New Jersey. She was the presiding judge of the Criminal Division. She was first appointed in 2006 and was reappointed for tenure in 2011 by Gov. Chris Christie (R).[2]
