Philip T. Raymond III is a judge on the Macon Circuit of the Georgia Superior Courts.[1] Raymond was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal to fill the vacancy on the court left by former Chief Judge Martha C. Christian. His term expires in 2018.

Education

Raymond received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his J.D. from Mercer University.[2]

Career

Raymond was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1979. Prior to joining the court, he worked in private practice at several different firms in Georgia. In 1992, he co-founded a firm with his future wife, Susan Dalton; at the time he left the firm for the court, it was known as Shaffer, Raymond & Dalton.[3]
