Raymond George is a judge on the Ninth Superior Court District for the Enotah Judicial Circuit in Georgia. He was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal in May 2012. His term expires in 2018.[1]

Education

George received his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University. He received his J.D. from the Woodrow Wilson College of Law, and was admitted to the bar in 1986.[2]

Career

George has held a variety of positions in the practice and enforcement of law. He served as Chief Assistant District Attorney for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit, worked in the private practice of law, and served as a police officer and detective. George also spent two years as a Commissioned Officer in the Military Police.[1]
