Bradford Delapena
Bradford Delapena is a Minnesota Tax Court judge.[1] He was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton in November 2012.[2] Delapena served as chief judge from January 7, 2013, through January 5, 2015.[3] He served again as chief judge from June 2017 to March 2021.[4]
Education
Delapena received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1991.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Delapena worked in private practice as a solo practitioner at Bradford Delapena Ltd. He specialized in appellate law and tax matters. Formerly, he was tax litigation division manager for the Minnesota attorney general and a former assistant state public defender.[2] Delapena has also been an adjunct law professor at the University of Minnesota.
