Irene Prosky Jacobs was a judge of the Waterbury District Superior Court in Connecticut. She left office in 2021.

She was nominated on March 14, 2014 by Governor Dannel P. Malloy and was confirmed by the Connecticut General Assembly on April 25.[1][2]

Education

Jacobs earned an undergraduate degree from SUNY Buffalo. She was awarded a master's degree from Wesleyan University. She also earned a J.D. from University of Connecticut, School of Law.[3]

Career

Jacobs was a partner at the law firm of Jacobs & Jacobs prior to joining the superior court bench in 2014. Before becoming a lawyer, she was a middle school and high school teacher.[3]
