Christopher S. Romanyshyn
Christopher S. Romanyshyn is a judge of the New Jersey Vicinage 5 Superior Court. He assumed office on March 10, 2017. His term ended in 2024.

He was appointed to the court in 2016 by then-Gov. Chris Christie (R). He will face reappointment in 2024, and if reconfirmed, he may serve on the court until he reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70.[1]
Biography
Romanyshyn received his bachelor's degree from Fairfield University and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. From 1995 to 1998, he practiced civil litigation with Keenan, Powers & Andrews, P.C. He joined the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice in 1999 where he served for 1 year as a deputy attorney general in the Labor Prosecutions Bureau and for 13 years in the Gangs & Organized Crime Bureau. From 2013 to 2016, Romanyshyn served as an assistant attorney general and deputy director in the division.[2]
