Fay Stetz-Waters is a judge on the 23rd Judicial District in Linn County, Oregon. She was appointed by Gov. Kate Brown (D) on October 20, 2017.[1]

Biography

Stetz-Waters served in the U.S. Marine Corps. She received a bachelor's degree from Trinity College and a J.D. from the Lewis and Clark Law School. At the time of her judicial appointment, she was a civil rights investigator at Oregon State University. Her professional experience also includes working as a hearings officer for the Oregon Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision, as an administrative law judge for the Oregon Office of Administrative Hearings, and as an attorney with Legal Aid.[1]
