Sheryl L. Parker is a former judge of the New York City Criminal Courts and acting justice of the Kings County Supreme Court of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District in New York. She was appointed to the criminal court in 1989 and became an acting justice in 1999.[1][2] Parker retired in 2015.[3]

Education

Parker received an undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont, an MBA from the Pace University Graduate School of Business Administration and a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law.[1]

Career

Parker began her career in 1977 as an assistant district attorney in New York County. In 1984, she became an assistant commissioner of the N.Y.C. Deptartment of Finance. She then worked as a deputy commissioner for the city's Deptartment of Investigation from 1986 until 1989.[1]
