Laura Woods is a judge of the Tehama County Superior Court in California. She was appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on May 22, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge John J. Garaventa.[1]
Biography
At the time of her appointment in 2017, Woods was a public defender at her firm, the Law Office of Laura S. Woods. Her professional experience also includes work as an associate at McGlynn and Clark, a research attorney for the Shasta County Superior Court, and a deputy district attorney for the Tehama County District Attorney's Office.[1]
