Preston Cole was the Wisconsin Secretary of Natural Resources. He assumed office on January 1, 2019. He left office on November 23, 2022.


Cole was first appointed to the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board by former governor Jim Doyle in 2007 and re-appointed in 2013 for another six-year term by former governor Scott Walker in 2013.

Cole was appointed to the position by Democratic Governor Tony Evers on December 19, 2018.[1] He retired on November 23, 2022.[2]
