Ricky Vazquez was born in Augusta, Ga on June 29th 1991. Later that year his mother moved to Fort Worth, Tx for a better life for the both of them. Ricky went to school out here; however, while attending Handley middle school his mother came to visit and came upon a horrible fight. She later pulled him out and moved to Arlington. Ricky graduated from Juan Seguin High School and from there served in the United States Marine Corps. After serving his country and two deployments Ricky attended Paul Quinn college until 2016 and studied Legal Studies from there to Dallas Institute Funeral Services until 2017 and became a Licensed Cremator. Ricky got a Job as a Medical Examiner Investigator for Bell County, Texas that same year. In 2018 Ricky decided to move home to Fort Worth because he felt leadership was needed. After coming back he ran for a Precinct Chair position and got it. He has led District 5 by full force and will not stop until the community has control of Fort Worth again. City government is supposed to lead the people not trying to manipulate them.

I have made it a point to listen to what the community has to say. Just living here is not enough. What makes me different is that I have extended myself to know what is going on here even before I ran for office.
The most important role is to be a community listener to determine what's best for the community, rather than what's best for a specific friend or neighbor.
