Lanigan won re-election for judge of the Duval County Court in Florida outright in the general election on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Lanigan was appointed to the court on May 8, 2020, by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to replace Pauline Drake.[1]
