I've spent the last 43 year of my life in Fargo were I raised two sons Eric who is now 32 and Lamont who is now 27. I am a small business owner that lives in Fargo North Dakota who is currently 51 years old. I'm also a full time graduate student, and a member of my church in Fargo. I have been a prostrate cancer survivor for just over 4 years now. In addition, I have been involved in politics since 1992 working across the isle to try to find common ground with people from all political spectrums. I remember the Golden Rule Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Both of my parents Gary/Michael and Donna Faye have both crossed the Vail, but they have both had strong influences in my life to stand up for the people and do the right thing even if it hurts. I have had many great teachers and influences in my life and to that effect I am grateful. Moreover, with these valuable lessons in life that I have learned, I believe that I have what it takes to serve you the American people in the United States Senate, and today, I am not only asking for your support , I am also asking for your vote on November 8th, 2022 Thank You Very Much, and God Bless America
  • I represent the interest of the people, and not my own self interest first and foremost.
  • I will defend our Constitutional Guarantees with every fiber of my being.
  • Fairness, Equality, and Justice for all will be on the top of my property list like they have always been and will always be.
Voting rights, equal opportunities, protecting the safety nets that we have all worked so hard to create such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Continue to support the Arts and Entertainment Endowments. Public Television. Injured workers rights. Unemployment rights. A fair and impartial Judicial system. Abused, stranded and battered women. Children's safety, health, education. Starting another war on poverty that will create educational training and rehabilitation , while providing hosing and retention through community small businesses programs after one graduates. Starting workers compensations programs that really retrain workers who have become injured so that they can go back to good paying jobs to support themselves and their families. Also I believe that we have to do all that we can to protect our middle class so that our country does not become a banana republic. A strong middle class is what makes America great with out that we will not be able to compete with the rest of the world for generations to come. I will always support our troops, and I believe that war should be the last resort after all areas of Diplomacy have failed. We also need to raise the minimum wage to a level that should of kept up with inflation since the 1960s but failed to do so. We must make sure that once we do raise the minimum wage that we keep the price of basic essentials at the same levels that they were before we raised the minimum wage or its all for nothing.
President. Franklin Delano Roosevelt because he wanted to do more for the poor. President. Kennedy because he did do more for the poor while President. Lyndon Baines Johnson did more for women's rights and he ended Jim Crow laws therefore Johnson helped to finish the work Kennedy started for equal rights.
Read the Federalist Papers that will give one the reasoning of why the United States Constitution was written the way it is.
Have an open mind. Now the Constitution like the back of their hand. Be fair with everyone they encounter in their lives.
I get things done. Great problem solver, I know how to work with people.
Be the will of the people. You are a public servant to serve and protect the people by upholding the Constitution of The United States of America. You are a Civil Servent. Read
He got things done for the people, and he cared.
Phillips 66 Station. It lasted 13 years.
The Bible because it's the greatest book ever written it is just as relevant today as it was 2000 years ago.
Dealing with cancer. Dealing with rude people. Dealing with greedy people. Dealing with stingy people.
The Recent shootings, the divide between the Democrats and the Republicans, Economic inequalities. Educational inequalities.
Has 100 members who vote, appropriate, confirm or denie appointments, serve a 6 year term in office. Work in conference committees, special communities, Joint committees, and they work on negotiations with foreign governments to make deals on Agriculture and all other forms of Government as well.
Yes I do. I went college so that I could learn Political Science and Criminal Justice. Plus I worked in the political field from 1992 until present. I believe you have to have a great knowledge of the political language because of the political repercussions that could go wrong if you have no idea about the true state of the Union as a whole.
It works for the party that is using it to stop the other party's vote.
Are they independently working for the good of the people or are they bias to work for one party or candidate. I would ask them who they stake their allegiance to the United States of America or somewhere else.
Yes, committe on Foreign Relations, Committe on Economic Recovery, Committe on Green Energy, Committe on Justice Reform, Committe on Equal opportunities, Committe on Equal Rights, Committe on Children's Protections.
Educational and personal experience in those areas mentioned.
So many great ones ones. I would want to model myself after many of them by reading their biographers to find out what they did right and what they did wrong. I think we can learn from many them.
What is black and white and read all over? The newspaper.
Their past decision and opinions made from their history as a Judge or their lawyer writings and briefs made to the court. If they made their decision based on statutory law or did they rule from the bench.
The Golden Rule Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Love your neighbor as yourself. Respect of course unless the bounderies where to be trampled on then it would be war all out war.
