Mark Kohler (Democratic Party) was the Connecticut Secretary of State. He assumed office on July 11, 2022. He left office on January 4, 2023.
Gov. Ned Lamont (D) appointed Kohler as Connecticut Secretary of State in June 2022 to replace Denise Merrill (D).
Biography
Kohler received a B.A. from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota in 1982, an M.A. in political science from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1984, and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1987. Kohler's professional experience includes overseeing the special litigation department in the office of the Secretary of the State and serving as associate attorney general.[1]
