Ron McCowan is the superintendent of the Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District. McCowan became superintendent on January 1, 2018. McCowan's previous career experience includes working as the principal of Valley Center High School.[1]

School board

The Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District school board consists of five members elected to four-year terms. The district used an at-large system through 2018 but transitioned to a by-district election system in 2020.[2]
