Vermont Convention 1836 (1834)

The Vermont Convention of 1836, also known as constitutional convention, was on the 1834 ballot in Vermont as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. The proposal allowed for the adoption of 12 amendments to the Vermont Constitution out of 20 proposed by the Eighth Council of Censors.[1]
