The Georgia Gubernatorial Runoff Elections Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Georgia on November 5, 1968, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided for a runoff election for the governor in the event no candidate received a majority of votes cast in the general election.[1]
