South Carolina Amendment 2 was on the November 7, 2000 election ballot in South Carolina. It passed, with 84% of voters in favor.

The language that appeared on the ballot:

Reduces, over 6 years, the property tax assessment on cars and pickup trucks from the current 10.5 percent to 6 percent of the fair market value.
