Vaudreuil recommended to federal judgeship in Wisconsin

Wisconsin: John W. Vaudreuil, President Obama's nominee for the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, has been approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee. U.S. Senators Herb Kohl and Russ Feingold originally recommended Vaudreuil to the President in September of 2009. Obama appointed him in May of 2010. On July 29th, he was unanimously approved by the Judiciary Committee and now faces confirmation by the entire Senate.
Vaudreuil is currently an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin. He has held this position since 1980 and is 55 years old.[1]
