New chief judge for Illinois Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court

Illinois: With the retirement of former judge James A. Lanuti on December 6, a new chief judge has been named for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois. The judge is Howard C. Ryan, Jr., who won the appointment after a unanimous vote by six fellow circuit court judges. His appointment will be formally announced by the Illinois Supreme Court in January.[1]
