Wisconsin: On Wednesday, February 16, former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice William A. Bablitch died at 69 years old. Bablitch, who retired from the Supreme Court in 2003, has served as a public prosecutor, state legislator, and, in the late 1960s, served two years in the Peace Corps. Bablitch joined the court after a successful election in 1983, where he then served for the next 20 years. After retiring from the court, Bablitch worked for Michael Best & Friedrich as a partner in the law firm’s Madison office. He is survived by his wife Anne Milne, his daughter Bulleh Bablitch-Norkeh, and two grandaughters.[1]
