Abilene School District Bond Proposition (November 2009)

There was a Abilene School District Bond Proposition on the November 3 ballot in Taylor County for voters in the city of Abilene.
This proposition sought to create a bond in the amount of $25,000,000 in order to help build a technical career high school. Property taxes in the area would have been increased if the measure had passed.[1]
This measure failed and school board members are directing their attention towards finding a new superintendent and not focusing on the bond failure.[2]
