The City of Huntsville General Obligation Bond proposition was on the November 3 ballot in Walker County for voters in the city of Huntsville.[1]

This proposition sought to issue a $3,500,000 bond in order to help fund the renovation and expansion the Huntsville public library.[2] At the time, library was 42 years old and was in need of renovations. The proposed renovations more than doubled the square footage of the library. A meeting room, a children room, a genealogy room and an archive storage area were all proposed additions.[3]
