There were two Dayton School District Replacement Levies measures on the February 9 ballot in Columbia County for voters in the Dayton school district.

Both measures were approved

Proposition 1

  • YES 954 (63.94%)Approveda
  • NO 538 (36.06%)

Proposition 2

  • YES 935 (63.48%)Approveda
  • NO 538 (36.52%)[1]

The first measure sought to replace an existing levy that goes towards maintenance and operation expenses. The levy will be at a rate of $2.25 per $1,000 for a further two years.

The second measure sought to enact a capital levy for school improvements which will be at a rate of $.19 per $1,000 of assessed property.[2]
