Maitland City Amendment 5: Council Term Limits was approved on the March 12, 2013 election ballot in Orange County, which is in Florida.
This measure amended the Maitland City Charter to establish clearly that a Mayor or City Council member can serve no more than two consecutive terms office.[1]

“ | Shall the Maitland Charter be amended to provide clarification that a candidate for Mayor or Council who has served for two (2) consecutive terms in office must wait for one city election to pass (approximately one (1) year) before becoming eligible to hold office again?[1][2] | ” |
