Morley City Sales Tax (November 2009)
The Morley City Sales Tax question was on the November 3 ballot in Scott County for residents in the city of Morley.
The question asked voters if they wanted to implement a sales tax of half a percent on the already fixed tax in the city. The money generated from the tax would be used to help fund capital improvements in the city, namely street construction and improvement, and also help with the debt from previous bonds issued by the city.[1]
