Nasewaupee Town Clerk Referendum (2008)

The Town of Nasewaupee Town Clerk Referendum was referred to the November 4, 2008 ballot in Door County. The town clerk of Nasewaupee is an elected position. This referendum sought to make it a position appointed by the town board. The measure was defeated by 53% of the vote.[1]

The town also opted to continue electing the position of treasurer. See Nasewaupee Treasurer Referendum (2008).

Status

Defeated, with 514 "yes" votes (46.60%) and 589 "no" votes (53.40%).[2]
