A Newport Hospital District Levy Increase measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the Newport hospital district area which is in Pend Oreille County.

This measure sought to increase the current property tax to a rate of $.50 per $1,000 of assessed property value in order to help pay for health care and service operational costs in the district.[2]
