This measure was approved
- YES 2,436 (66.48%)
- NO 1,228 (33.52%)[1]
This measure sought to restore the emergency medical services property tax of $.50 per $1,000 of assessed value. The money generated from this levy will go towards maintaining services, vehicles and facilities associated with emergency needs.[2] This tax was set at $.28 but the district felt it needed further funds to provide the services required for the city. This money will also go towards hiring more firefighters for the district.[3]
