There was a Sarasota County School District Levy Increase measure on the March 16 ballot in Sarasota County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 46,413 (65.98%)Approveda
  • NO 23,934 (34.02%)[1]

This measure asked county voters if they wanted to allow a .01 percent increase on the current property taxes within the county in order to better help the school district. This measure will be in place for a further four years.[2]
