Alabama City Trust Funds, Amendment 9 (1998)

The Alabama City Trust Funds Amendment, also known as Amendment 9, was on the November 3, 1998, election ballot in Alabama as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed that cities with a population of 150,000 or more residents could create trust funds to support the interests of the city.[1]
