Christine Chandler (Democratic Party) (also known as Chris) is a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives, representing District 43. She assumed office on January 1, 2019. Her current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Chandler (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New Mexico House of Representatives to represent District 43. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Chandler is a former probate judge for the Los Alamos County Probate Court in New Mexico. She was appointed to the court by the Los Alamos County Council in August 2013 to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Y. Ellen Hong.[1][2] Chandler was sworn into office on August 19, 2013.[3] Chandler retired from the court on February 20, 2016.[4]
Education
Chandler received her undergraduate degree from Smith College, her J.D. degree from the Boston College Law School in 1984, and her master's degree in international and comparative law from the Georgetown University Law Center.[1][5]
