Foster-Bonner graduated from Roosevelt University in 1979. Her professional history includes starting her businesses, Foster-Bonner-Mason & Associates, Inc. and Foster-Bonner, Inc., and working at Allstate Insurance Company and Canteen Corporation as an accountant. Foster-Bonner served as secretary of the Mark Sheridan Math and Science Academy school council. She founded Friends of Mark Sheridan and Reunite Chatham NFP and has been associated with the 6th Police District (serving as a CAPS/Beat Facilitator), the Cook County State’s Attorney Southside Office Steering Committee, and the Greater Chatham Initiative’s Public Safety Committee.[1]
