Kenneth Brown (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 6th Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on June 9, 2020.

Biography

Brown earned a B.A. in industrial and labor relations from the University of Michigan in 1979. His professional experience includes working as a certified financial planner, executive sales and business coach, trainer, consultant, and speaker. Brown was enlisted in the U.S. Navy from August 1974 to August 1976, and he served as a naval officer from July 1979 to August 1986. He has been affiliated with the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, the Gwinnett Foundation, the Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services, and the Neighborhood Leadership Institute. He previously served as a board member for the Georgia Public Policy Foundation, and he graduated from the Gwinnett Leadership Institute and the Metro Atlanta Regional Leadership Institute.[1]

Ken is President and CEO of eWeb 2 Sales and Profit, a sales, profit and business development company that shows companies how to leverage the web to increase sales and improve profitability. Ken is called, a “Sales, Web and Profit Evangelist”.

He began his professional sales career as a Certified Financial Planner with IDS/American Express where he ranked in the top five percent of over 6,000 peers as a financial planning practitioner and was fifth in the country for individual disability sales.

Ken has won various awards including Top 25 Influential Sales Leaders by Inside View. His show, “The Passionate Entrepreneur “was selected as one of the best podcasts for small business by Small Business Trends.

He has appeared and published over thirty commentaries and articles in Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta Tribune, Business to Business, Catalyst and Emerge Magazine, Creative Loafing, Champion Newspaper, Ezine and Impact Articles.

Mr. Brown has over 30 years of business experience that includes work in computer services, financial services, business process services, human resources and human capital development. Ken has trained and advised over 300+ Precinct Chairpersons and Grassroots activists around the state and Atlanta metro area including Cherokee, Fulton, Cobb, Gwinnett, Dekalb, Clayton, Bulloch and Clarke counties.

In the community, Ken is in the “Dream Chasing Business”. He shows citizens how to “step up”, communities how to 'rise up' and turn their vision and dreams into reality by developing better leaders, organizers, communicators, recruiters and winners. Ken is a champion and is dedicated to citizen empowerment and small business success.

On the political and grassroots community side, Ken calls himself: “Conservative Community Grassroots Activist and Evangelist and a True Conservative, Champion for Small Business and the Grassroots Community.” He is a champion and advocate for the people who is dedicated to the principles of freedom, opportunity, free enterprise, self-reliance, personal responsibility, free market, citizen empowerment and small business success.

Ken has been a conservative since 1956 and joined the Republican party in the early 1990s. His past Republican conservative, leadership, volunteer organizations and activities: 2nd Vice Chairman for the Georgia Republican Party; Chairman of the Black Republican Council; Gwinnett County Co-Chairman for Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich; Volunteer for Newt Gingrich’s Renewing American Civilization course; Graduate of the first class of the Coverdell Leadership Institute (now known as the Republican Leadership of Georgia).

In 2016, he was Volunteer Phone Coordinator for Cherokee County for Donald J. Trump Presidential campaign in which the county earned over 80% of the vote for our new president.

In 2018, Ken was part of the winning Kemp for Governor campaign in Georgia and Operation Red Wall which knocked on over 200,000 doors in North Georgia. Ken personally made over 5,000 phone calls and knocked on over 3,750 doors.[2]
