Marlene Fernandez-Karavetsos
Marlene Fernandez-Karavetsos is a judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court. Fernandez-Karavetsos' current term ends on January 2, 2029.
Fernandez-Karavetsos won re-election for judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court outright in the general election on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
She was appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on August 29, 2019, to replace Maria I. Sampedro-Iglesia.[1]
At the time of her appointment, Fernandez-Karavetsos was the special counsel and assistant attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.
