Three of the nine seats on the Edison Township Public Schools school board were up for at-large general election on November 8, 2016. Theresa Ward was the sole incumbent to run for re-election. Ward, Richard Brescher, and Xiaohan Peng defeated William Araujo for the three seats up for election. Nilesh Dasondi originally filed to run but withdrew from the race before the election.[1]

Funding

Ward reported $20,877.27 in contributions and $18,039.76 in expenditures to the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission, which left her campaign with $2,837.51 in the election.[2]
